Tanisha West

Tanisha West, a proud HBCU graduate has been in banking and financial services for 23 years. She has a wealth of experience in Talent Acquisition and has spent her career as a champion for inclusion and diversity. Tanisha joined TD Bank in April 2022 a Senior Recruiter in Talent Acquisition for the Wealth side of the business. She is primarily responsible for hiring securities licensed individuals across the TD footprint from Maine to Florida. She is a member of the Black Employee Network and the HBCU Working group. Tanisha spent 10 years with Edward Jones also as a Senior Recruiter with responsibility for regions in South Carolina, Texas and Louisiana. She was promoted to a Regional Analyst prior to her departure. Tanisha started her career at PaineWebber as a Branch Office Administrator and Branch Technology Liaison and worked her way up at UBS over ten years holding various positions including Regional Administrative Assistant, Campus and Events Lead for MBA Recruiting and as a Recruiter for the Emerging Affluent Investment Centers in Weehawken, NJ and Charlotte, NC.
 
Tanisha received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia.
 
A native of Monterey, California, Tanisha is actively involved in several roles at Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Eutawville, South Carolina and as a volunteer throughout Orangeburg County. Tanisha is the best aunt to her nieces and nephew, and a committed family woman to her father, aunts and uncles, Godchildren and cousins, young and old. Tanisha enjoys traveling and reading. Tanisha is also a Certified Mixologist.
